My passion for music goes way back to the ‘60s when records from the Beatles, the Who and the Small Faces were always playing on the radio. I was hooked on the music and the machines that played them. The first jukebox restoration came in 1975 when a friend asked me to take a look at his Bal AMI I200. It required far more than ‘a look’ suffering many years of neglect. Over the following months it was dismantled, carefully rebuilt and became a fully functional jukebox again. Many parties followed!
Interest in jukeboxes was put on hold over the next 20 years whilst pursuing a career in professional audio. This entailed designing mixing consoles, power amplifiers & speaker systems used by artists like Pink Floyd & Phil Collins. Then around ten years ago I caught the jukebox bug again after buying a run down Wurlitzer 2410. I got so much enjoyment from restoring and then playing it that I soon had a second, then a third jukebox. Space and finance dictated that some had to be sold allowing me to buy more machines and perfect my restoration skills.
This inspired me to start Your Jukebox Company with a primary aim of providing quality classic jukebox restorations to rival the best available. I also wanted to employ my creative skills which have surfaced in the form of the custom jukeboxes that you will also see on this web site. Please take a look at the current stock of jukeboxes and give us a call if you would like to see & hear any of them or have any specific requirements. I’m sure we can find Your Jukebox!
