I'd love a jukebox but ...

We’ve found over the years that most customers have wanted to own a jukebox for a long time whilst some are unsure or need a little persuasion. Ether way, we have created a short list of questions & answers to help you make your decision.

…but aren’t they expensive?

With prices starting from £1000 they don’t have to be a huge outlay and will give many years of pleasure. The hidden benefit is that jukeboxes do go up in value so you can enjoy your music whilst your asset appreciates! Can you say the same about your TV or CD player?

.. can you still get the records?

Yes, 7” records were made in their millions over the last 50 years and many survive. Plenty of record dealers have huge stocks of records that can be found on web sites and at specialist fairs that will find you just about any record. Box sets or 25 records from the 50s/60s/70s are available with hits on both sides so you get 50 top tunes!

Some new releases are still available on 7” record from record shops and mail order. There are companies that will actually make a new 45 record for you taking the music from your CD, cassette, MP3 or any other format. For around £20 you could have a brand new copy of your favorite song!

... where can I put it?

You would be surprised just where owners put their jukeboxes - lounges, kitchens, under stairs, hallways, conservatories and games rooms. A jukebox would look great in the entrance to your company or in the board room!

Most jukeboxes will fit through a standard door (28”) and have wheels making them easy to move a round. Classic and Custom jukeboxes blend in well in the corner of rooms or can be used as the focal point of the rooms theme. If space is a problem we often have the smaller sized jukeboxes (typically 32” wide) that will fit just about anywhere.

... which one?

That depends on the style and budget. Although style is very much a personal choice, have a look at the Classic and Custom pages which show a range of vastly different types which will give an idea of what’s available. Prices start from £1000 depending on the model.

... I already have a music system!

You can have both!

They both play music but that’s where the similarity ends. Jukeboxes have their own unique sound and let you hear and enjoy records from any era just as they were intended. Add to this the visual impact of a jukebox which looks great in any room and is always a conversation piece. Don’t forget also that a jukebox is an appreciating asset that will retain its value in years to come unlike a modern music system.
